About Our Events

An event to say thank you to our teachers and welcome them back to the new school year.

An opportunity for parents to meet their child’s teacher. Put on by the school, but Home & School has an open-house prior to the start of Back to School Night where parents can visit tables and pick up information about the various activities/events hosted by the Bridle Path Home & School Association throughout the year.

This is an opportunity for every child to get his/her picture taken. Pictures will be published in the BP yearbook. Parents can order pictures if they choose. All proceeds from photo orders go to BPHSA to offset the cost of school assemblies, field trips and special programs.

This fundraiser is offered to all families interested in saving money throughout our community. Kidstuff is a coupon book with local and national store chain coupons. The book costs $25 and BPHSA earns 50% of that cost. It’s a win-win… savings for families and money for BP.

This is an easy way for BP to earn money. For every Box Top turned in, our school will earn $.10. Twice a year, our school will have a contest to see which 3 classes can turn in the most Box Tops. Each of those 3 classes will earn a special prize.

Halloween Spooktacular is a Halloween party with dancing, games and trick-or-treating. Kids and parents are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Thanksgiving Back is a service event where the Bridle Path community donates gently used or new items to our friends at the Mitzvah Circle Foundation who help those in need in our immediate community. This year’s event will take place on November 15th. Families can send in their donations to be dropped off in a front lobby box or bring them to the BP Café from 6-8 pm.
Items in Need Are: gently used and new children’s coats, gently used and new shoes, new socks, new underwear, new hats, new gloves and full size toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, etc.
There will be an additional opportunity to volunteer at Mitzvah Circle Foundation on 11/15. Stay tuned for details…

Every year, in remembrance of the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., each BP student decorates a paper bag and fills it with breakfast goodies donated by BPHSA.  Students in grades 4 – 6 elect class representatives to load the bags on a school bus and take them to Manna on Main Street and Mitzvah Circle Foundation.  Students deliver the bags and tour the facilities to learn about how their donations will be used to help needy members of our community.

This is a free event for our entire school to attend. Bridle Path’s 5th and 6th graders show their talent in a Variety Show. Think American Idol meets BP without anyone getting voted off. This is a great opportunity for us to cheer on our students willing to show us their talents.

Here’s an opportunity for Dad’s, Grandfather’s, Uncle’s or that special someone to show their softer side or their silly side and dance with their little girls. Families donate baked goods and drinks. A photographer is on hand to take professional photos.

This is an event that gives each child an opportunity to buy a book. Each student will attend the book fair during his/her library time during the school week. In addition to purchasing books or making a wish list, children can take a guess at this year’s guessing game and then listen to a story read by Mrs. Baker. On Friday night, there will be an evening event that all can attend with their families.

Come on out and get some ice cream, socialize and buy some books. This is another great opportunity to sit and read with your child or just share in conversation while eating ice cream. Toppings are provided so you can make your own creation.

This is an opportunity for our school to make easy money. For each child that gets their picture taken our school will earn money. Parents aren’t required to order photo packages, but can if they choose to.

Think Field Day… this is hosted by the school and organized by Ms. Reed, our gym teacher. BPHSA provides popsicles to all of the students as a refreshing treat and we also supply coolers of cold water for the hot day. Volunteers will be needed to help the different classes throughout the day. Parents are welcome to attend and watch all outdoor activities.

This is a committee that handles the planning of our 6th grade farewell party. Every year, the 6th grade students are honored at a farewell party (usually held at Hatfield Aquatic Center). This group also fundraises up to twice a year to help off-set the costs of the gift to our 6th graders and any additional needs for their party.
